Pleasure is Paramount: Helping patients live their fullest lives after and during cancer

Sexual concerns are extremely common after a wide variety of cancer treatments and without information from healthcare providers patients may feel that their sexuality is a casualty in the war against cancer. This session will review common sexual concerns in people with a cancer experience with a focus on needs for education, supports, and resources for treatment. We will review published guidelines regarding care for sexual concerns in those with cancer (ASCO, NAMS/ISSWSH) and briefly review available treatments and supports as well as methods to learn more about addressing the sexual concerns of patients who have had a cancer experience.
