Why Get Certified?
This course and exam are updated annually using current American Medical Association (AMA) published versions of the CPT®, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding manuals.
General coding and chapter-specific guidelines are updated with explanations and guidance for proper use, including E/M code and documentation changes.
What’s Included: This instructor-led course includes a binder of learning materials, workbook exercises, a practice exam, and a proctored certification exam.
This course is designed for experienced coders that have a minimum of one year of work experience as an outpatient medical coder
** Before beginning the CMC course, candidates are advised to complete PMI's fundamental training “Principles of Coding” (included with course purchase)
