Dr. Janine L. Fogarty, MD, is a distinguished leader in Diagnostic Radiology and Hospice/Palliative Medicine. With over 18 years at Borg Imaging/Borg and Ide Imaging, she transitioned to Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2016. At Unity Hospital, she held roles including interim Division Chief of palliative medicine and Chief of Ethics. Actively involved in MSSNY, she's served as Councilor, Vice Commissioner of Public Health and Education and Bioethics Committee Co-chair. She has been active on the Board of the Monroe County Medical Society since 2015. An alternate delegate for the AMA, she champions women in medicine and palliative care and pain management. Presently, Dr. Fogarty serves as the Medical Director for Webster Comfort Care Home, where she dedicates herself to providing compassionate end-of-life care.
