We are a private practice in Victor, NY with a welcoming, team-oriented environment seeking a Medical Assistant to join our busy Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office. Our providers work closely together to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages.
As an integral part of our clinical team, you’ll assist providers in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients. Your responsibilities will include: • Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories • Assisting providers with exams and procedures following established protocols • Performing or preparing routine tests, specimens, and lab work as ordered • Maintaining clean, well-stocked exam rooms and clinical supplies • Coordinating patient care, including referrals, imaging, and prior authorizations • Managing patient communication via phone or EMR with professionalism and empathy • Ensuring accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Supporting infection control and safety standards across all activities
