5,000 Additional Appointments Available for Unaffiliated Healthcare Workers

Effective this afternoon, the Monroe County Health Department (MCDOH) has opened up 5,000 additional appointment slots to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Details are as follows:

Who:  Unaffiliated Healthcare Workers* = healthcare workers who are not affiliated (i.e., credentialed, on the Medical & Dental staff, employed) by either RRH or URMC)

Day/Dates:        1/7/2021 – 1/23/2021

Location:            Monroe County Fleet Center, Bldg. 10, 145 Paul Road, Rochester, NY 14624

Bring:                  1) Driver’s License/Photo ID; 2) Note/letter from employer attesting to their employment; 3) Attached, completed Consent Form; 4) Health Insurance Card

*= you must meet the following criteria to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through the MCDOH

  1. System Affiliation: this is for health care providers not affiliated with any hospital system or IPA
  2. Patient-facing Responsibilities: clinical and non-clinical staff must have patient-facing responsibilities (this is key!). If possible, show proof that you actively see patients (i.e., letter from your office manager, physician).  This is a mandate from Governor Cuomo.

If you  meet Criteria #1 & 2 above, you will be able to receive the vaccine.  If not, you may not be able to get the vaccine at this location.”
